What the route feels like
I opened the Silver Pines store page because a comparison video exists and I did not want to repeat its jokes as facts. What the page actually shows is a Team17 RPG with a Metacritic 85 and a much larger Steam sample than Tenebris Somnia had in week one. The bundle is the useful fact: Valve’s store, not a fan list, is willing to put the two covers side by side. I have not played Silver Pines, so I am not going to tell you which combat feels better.

How to choose
Pick Tenebris Somnia if you want a short, mean, inventory-driven horror game and you can tolerate the boss spikes the critics named. Pick Silver Pines if you want the longer RPG and the wider language list. Buy the bundle only if you already wanted both; the −15% is real and it is not a reason to buy a genre you dislike.
