Tenebris Somnia endings
There are four endings, not two. Steam’s achievement list is the authority: SOLVE ET COAGULA, MAGNUM OPUS, VIVUS EX MORTIBUS, and RENUNTIATIO. Only the first pair has a verified unlock rule.

What the route feels like
I saved on the forge checkpoint the moment Aurifer was in the inventory, because ShowGamer and Gamer Social Club both say that one file can hold both main endings. The first time through I left the ghosts alone and the last fight was Lacuna, the one that lifts you and drops you. After the reload I hit the ghost that runs from the south door, and the last fight was Hermes. I do not have a personal clear of endings 3 or 4, and I am not going to invent the steps.
Why some sites say two endings
ShowGamer and Prima Games wrote up a good ending and a bad ending, which are endings 1 and 2. The Steam schema also has two hidden ending achievements. iampanax’s ending video, uploaded October 16, 2026, chapters them at 0:00, 0:49, 2:05, and 5:50. The right sentence is “two main endings plus two hidden ones.”
Lacuna and Hermes
Lacuna is the spare-the-ghosts fight. ShowGamer describes a tentacle phase, a grab that kills you if you are lifted, and a second phase where a copy of Julia has to be cleared first. Aurifer is not usable in that fight, so bring revolver or shotgun ammunition.
Hermes is the kill-at-least-one fight. Phase one is a giant hand with rune warnings and beams the screen telegraphs. Phase two is a face that inhales. Stand far back. If you are pulled into the mouth, the achievement Devoured pops, and you are dead. The simplest kill for the branch is the ghost that flees out of the south door after the forge.
What is still unconfirmed
Ending 3’s video path includes a boss fight labeled Amy. Amy is the final boss of FAITH chapter 1, and Airdorf is this game’s executive producer, so a crossover is plausible. The video description also calls one secret the “FAITH ending” and pairs it with RENUNTIATIO. That is a clue, not a recipe. Until a written source or a frame-by-frame confirmation exists, this page will not list button presses for endings 3 and 4.

Not confirmed as of October 18, 2026. Both names and their global unlock rates (0.4% and 1.2%) are on the Steam achievement page. The steps are not.
