Tenebris Somnia enemies and bosses
Official names come from Steam achievements. Fight choreography comes from walkthroughs. Where those two sources might be describing one creature under two names, this page says so instead of merging them.
Last checked 2026-10-18.
| First boss | Candle arena. Guides say Candlehead. The wrench-only achievement says Obscuratus. Same fight is likely, not confirmed by the developer. |
|---|---|
| Midgame | Fumus drops the red pentacle stone. Carnitos are the group. Vorax explodes. |
| Final pair | Lacuna if you spare the ghosts. Hermes if you kill at least one. |
What the route feels like
The candle room is the fight I would practice on a save. While every candle is lit, the shots do not count, which is why the guides tell you to blow them out and then use the revolver. The achievement Iron and wax says you can do that kill with the wrench alone. I have not proved the wrench clear myself. I am passing on the published condition, not a damage number, because nobody reliable has published hit points.
Named fights
No source I checked published health bars or damage values. If a number is not here, it was not verified.

Questions people ask
Who is the first boss?
The candle-arena fight. Walkthroughs call it Candlehead. Steam calls a wrench-only kill Obscuratus. Blow out every candle before you deal damage.
Is Obscuratus the same as Candlehead?
Probably, and not confirmed by New Blood. This page keeps both names until a patch note or the in-game boss bar settles it.
